Now a little about our host: Karolina Griškutė is a jazz vocalist hailing from Lithuania who is now made a home in Bristol. Beginning their journey into the world of jazz seven years ago, they have played to audience in both Lithunia and the UK, blending jazz with R&B influences. They have performed at Lithuania’s REM Vilnius 2018 opening ceremony, the renowned Kaunas Jazz Festival in 2018, and graced the stage at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.

Benji Grut is a talented multi-instrumentalist and performer with a background in drums, guitar and vocals. A graduate of BIMM Bristol University with a degree in Popular Music Performance and Songwriting, Benji brings professional musicianship, charisma, and a diverse setlist to every stage.

Blending timeless classics with modern favourites, Benji delivers acoustic covers with soulful vocals and rhythmic guitar as well as his own original music.

Playing genres such as: Indie, Rock, Acoustic and Pop whilst covering artists such as: The Beatles, Oasis, Coldplay, Elton John, Bill Withers, Fleetwood Mac & many more!

The Crafty Egg is hosting a new art exhibition in collaboration with Circular ArtSpace, bringing a curated selection of contemporary works into the café setting.

The exhibition features pieces by artists connected to Circular ArtSpace, spanning painting, illustration, and mixed media. The works explore themes of everyday life, connection, and personal expression, creating a thoughtful visual backdrop to the space.

Designed to sit naturally within The Crafty Egg, the exhibition invites guests to engage with art while enjoying coffee, brunch, or an evening drink. It’s a quiet meeting point between food, community, and creative practice.

Max Sloan is a folk singer songwriter from Northern Ireland, based in Bristol. His songs are intimate, taking inspiration from nature and personal experience. Max has been compared to artists such as Joshua Burnside and Lizzy McAlpine.

The Crafty Egg Quiz Night returns. Hosted by the wonderfully hilarious Toby - The Crafty Egg's Resident Budding Comic and Quiz Master. The quiz consists of 4 rounds of quizzical conundrums with a few egg puns thrown in for good measure. Make sure to get down to The Crafty Egg for 7pm, quiz starts at 7.30pm sharp! Entry £1.

Portishead-born Adrian Roper is a singer-songwriter whose songs express a wide range of subjects, emotions and styles, drawing on blues, indie, Americana, folk and more.

Mike Slee’s guitar lifts every song into another dimension, deepening the emotion, and delivering riffs that bring exactly the right mix of heart, lift, drama, and wit.

Live, they adapt to the room bringing warmth and good humour that pulls the audience closer into a shared experience.

Adèle & Rich are an acoustic duo, performing a variety of modern and classic pop songs (anywhere from Dolly Parton to Bruno Mars).

Adèle, inspired by jazz and folk music, pleases the audience with her soft vocals, which sit nicely with Rich’s acoustic guitar accompaniment.

The duo focus on playing popular songs in an acoustic style, which appeal to a typical audience in a pub / bar setting.

With poetic lyrical flair, Lara Rxse takes you in a whirlwind of harmonies, and catchy (but intricate) melodies. Her music embodies that of a walk through nature, and she is well versed in writing from her own life experiences. Lara paints ballads bound to tug at your heart strings - taking influence from jazz & folk. She will also be mixing her set with a range of well known covers, so you’ll be sure to hear something you love!

India Arkin was introduced to the world with a thunderous start, moving to the North-East to study Fine Art, Arkin was quickly signed to HMV’s first ever distribution deal with 1921 Records; putting her face on the page of Forbes, NME - as well naming her a National Album Day ambassador alongside the likes of Sam Ryder, Franz Ferdinand, and KSI. Cememting herself as one to watch from the beginning.

You’re probably here because you either love drawing or you love dogs, and if that’s the case, then this might just be the perfect event for you.

Welcome to Dog Life Drawing classes with artist Cai Burton at The Crafty Egg on Church Road.

Join this art class with a difference and get to know your fluffy models with a tail who just love scratches, pets and treats. Each class will feature multiple dogs of all shapes and sizes - expect snorting flat faces, long legs, tight curls and waggy tails. Try to keep up with the dogs movements and capture a variety of sketches, or spend longer on timed exercises led by artist Cai Burton.

Classes are fun and relaxed with the opportunity to move around and see different dogs. Get to know the owners and play with the pups during the break. Share your work afterwards and see how other artists of all skill levels capture these furry friends.

Cai will guide you through the session, introducing you to the class w ith structured warm ups and moving you around the space. Despite this, classes are still relaxed with the opportunity to move around as you see fit.

Drinks will be available from the bar and chilled music will help set the tone.

Weekly Craft club to connect with other mums in your area, chat with like minded people, focus on yourself and unleash your creativity. Each session you will be immersed into a new creative project and at the end of the workshop you’ll have something unique to take home with you and something that you actually want to keep!

For this workshop you will learn how to tie-dye, exploring different techniques and using a variety of colours to make some unique and special clothes for your little one. One babygro or t-shirt is included (up to 3 years) and extras can be brought on the day for £5 each. If your little one is over 3 years you are welcome to bring an item from home to tie-dye!

The venue is pram accessible and we welcome you with kids up to 4 years old for free and kids 5+ at a small additional charge.

These will be your best Xmas decorations of all them! In this evening workshop you will learn the intricate art of folding paper to create your own beautiful origami baubles. All materials will be provided and by the end of the workshop you will have created at least 3 origami baubles (hopefully many more!) to take home with you to add a splash of colour and handmade decoration to your home and Christmas tree. Once you master the technique I guarantee these will be regular gifts you give (not just for Christmas!) and stand out decorations for years to come! This workshop is for anyone that wants to have a fun relaxing crafty evening, meet other similar minded people, learn a new skill and create something beautiful!

Monthly Life Drawing with Ella Sarah Creative

Join her for a relaxed and inclusive life drawing evening, held monthly at the Crafty Egg on Church Road.

Open to all – whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or returning to figure drawing after a break.

Led by experienced and supportive tutor, these sessions focus on creative wellbeing, helping you unwind, reconnect with your creativity and grow your drawing confidence at your own pace. There's no pressure for perfection, just a welcoming space to observe, sketch and enjoy the process.

All materials are provided, including a variety of basic drawing tools and paper. If you have a preferred medium please do bring these along. Boards provided are A3.

Each session features a professional life model (models of all genders), with a mix of short and long poses. Ella will be on hand throughout, offering friendly guidance, tips and encouragement for those who’d like it.

We'll take a short break halfway through for drinks and a chance to chat and share.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
