Luke De-Sciscio Residency

Throughout September catch Luke De-Sciscio live in residency at the Crafty Egg.

UK alt-folk singer-songwriter Luke De-Sciscio has had a busy 2025; touring the UK and Ireland with his Blur of Dreams tour, releasing his eighteenth full length album and riding the coat-tails of last year’s ’Theo’ through festivals across the Summer and onto a Block Party Mix for BBC6music.

Recording in contrast to the status quo Luke’s albums offer collections of one-take moments that seek to minimise the distance between inspiration and release.

Captured almost exclusively through a single microphone, his style is both poignant and vivid. Perfect for capturing the unspeakable ‘ness’ that one might associate with life’s defining moments.

So be it ‘Theo’ that preserved in blistering detail the first six weeks of his daughter’s life. ‘Good Bye Folk Boy’ that staggered wearily from the abyss toward career defining support slots. Or any of the records in between, each an artefact of their own season.

Luke’s catalogue is as broad as it is deep. Bound by lyrical elegance, defined by his almost-operatic voice and born-in touch of the guitar.

A collection of records that flies in the face of over-production. That favours integrity over perfection. Honesty over marketing. And humanity above all.

That will speak to fans of Van Morrison’s ‘Astral Weeks’, Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, John Martyn or anyone looking for music that will have you laugh, cry and feel - above all, intensely.

Shows start from 5 with support from Alex Dover (6th), Fela Dakota (13th), Leo Baby (20th) and Pound Shop Poet (27th).

This is a free entry residency show with DJ’s to follow until late.
